Our Services

We believe in the corrective power of Pilates and the lasting change it creates in your body. We also believe your practice is unique to you; no two bodies are the same.

Our own personal Pilates journey has taught us that regular private lessons are imperative for progress. We recommend a minimum of two one-on-one lessons per month to maximize your group work investment.

Private Lessons

You will use all of the studio apparatus: the classical pilates mat, reformer, cadillac, ladder barrel, spine corrector, wunda chair, ped-o-pull, and foot corrector. You will learn all of the exercises on each, and learn how to feel the method in your body. Each apparatus has a unique design to help you initiate movement from your center.

Private sessions are also available via Zoom.

5 sessions $450
10 sessions $800

Duet Lessons

This is a more curated experience than a class. It allows you to experience all of the apparatus, just like a private session, but with a friend.

Duet sessions are also available via Zoom

5 sessions $275
10 sessions $500

Group Classes

  • A semi-private Mat Pilates class with props in the San Diego Studio. Nicole is giving corrections to a client stretching her leg up in the foreground. Other clients are partially showing in the photo also stretching.

    Mat With Props

This Mat Pilates class is open to all levels. We use small props to help you develop your awareness of your center + seat + back = powerhouse

  • A semi-private Pilates Reformer class in the Ritual Pilates Studio in San Diego. There are three people doing various Pilates workouts with the instructor, Nicole, giving guidance in front of them.

    Pilates Reformer

The focus will be learning the reformer exercises and their order, as well as initiating every exercise from your core. You will build lots of endurance and strength. The class size is limited to 3 to ensure quality.

Course Work

There are multiple classes a month open to teachers of all levels. Learn more about our coursework for Pilates enthusiasts and instructors.

FAQ

  • No, there is only one type, and for it to be effective there are things you should look for in a studio and an instructor: a fully equipped space (barrels, reformers, chairs, and more), instructors with a minimum of 650 hours of training, and an emphasis on teaching the exercises and their order.

  • The Pilates Method of Body Conditioning was designed by Joseph Pilates throughout his lifetime, from 1920-1960’s. We highly recommend his book Return to Life.

  • Something comfortable and form fitting is best. No special socks or shoes are required.

  • 2-3x a week to see improvement and create lasting change. If you decide to do our small group classes we recommend at least 2 private sessions a month to make sure you’re progressing and to give you new exercises.
